Lata Sagar

Lata Sagar, 77, of Paramus, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Just a few weeks shy of 78, Lata lived a life filled with abundant love and joy. She will be dearly missed by her husband Amrit, her only living sibling Alka Soni, her children Yogesh, Geeta, and Radhika, her grandchildren Kaajal, Kareena, Krisha, Kishan, Shivani, and Nikhil, and all of her beloved family. 

Lata, also known as Mom/Nani/Dadi, was born in Kohat, India. Amazingly talented, she was a phenomenal artist, basketball player, tailor, cook, and more. Lata was never without a smile and lived to laugh with her grandchildren.

She loved to help others and brought an enthusiastic spirit to all of those around her. She was adventurous and loved nature. She had a passion for gardening and tending to her beautiful flowers.

Her funeral will be held on August 30th at 8:45 AM at: Vander Plaat Funeral Home 257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481 

We will be departing from the funeral home for the cremation at 10:00 AM at: East Ridgelawn Crematory 255 Main Avenue Clifton, NJ 07014
