Margaret D'Angelo

Margaret (Gunderman) D'Angelo, Age 91, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at St. Luke’s Hospital of Bethlehem PA. She was born in Paterson, NJ on May 15, 1935 and resided in Ringwood NJ for many decades followed by East Stroudsburg PA in the latter years of her life. 

A woman of strong faith in the Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, she was on mission to spread the Gospel to everyone she met. She will be remembered for her bright smile and her deep love for people. She was a prayer warrior and read her Bible everyday. The joy of the Lord was her strength and she showed this through her perseverance and fight in life’s most difficult seasons. She loved her family dearly and always said she had the best sons.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas D’Angelo Sr. Loving and devoted mother of Thomas D’Angelo Jr. and wife Stephanie, Russ D’Angelo and wife Jennifer. Cherished grandmother of Thomas D’Angelo III and wife Kimberly, Michelle D’Angelo, Tiffany Aguilar and husband Horlan, Cassandra Ponce and husband Michael, Brandon D’Angelo and fiancé Zoey Iverson, and Russ D’Angelo. Adored great grandmother of Hannah, Luke, Jacob, and Delilah.

Visiting will be on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 10am to 12pm with a funeral service starting at 11:45am at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com (http://www.vpfh.com/)), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Graveside services will be held promptly to follow at the Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
