Margaret E. Doran

Margaret Eleanor Doran, 97, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Margaret was the cherished daughter of the late Matthew and Margaret Midlaw. She was preceded in death by her siblings John and Mary, and is survived by her brother James (Grace). Margaret spent most of her life in Breezy Point, New York, before moving to Christian Health Care assisted living facility in her later years. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank. Margaret is survived by her loving daughters Judianne Ingrassia (Phil), Margaret Savage (Michael), and Patricia O’Meara (partner Thomas Berardo).  She was a proud grandmother to Matthew Ingrassia (Beata), Marianne Schmidt (Dave), Michael Savage (Cate Shores), Daniel Savage (Jess), James O’Meara (Dasia Hale), and Thomas O’Meara; and great-grandmother to Luca and Matteo Ingrassia, Emersyn Schmidt, Josephine Savage, and Daniel Savage. Margaret was also a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews Kathleen Midlaw (Ed), Karen Sage (Ed), and Kenneth Midlaw (Bea), all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Margaret enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as an executive assistant at J.P. Morgan. Outside of work, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved to dance, travel, and cook, and she created many treasured memories that will live on through her loved ones. 

The Doran family will receive friends and family on Monday, June 23 from 11:00am till 12:30pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ  07481, followed by a memorial service at 12:30pm.

Her gentle spirit and deep love for her family will be remembered always.
