Margaret "Peg" L. Connors

Margaret ‘Peg’ Connors, age 93, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025.  She was the devoted wife of the late Bernard ‘Bernie’ Connors. Together they raised four children and started a successful business. Upon Bernie’s death she worked in the front office at Washington School in Wyckoff for nearly 30 years before retiring. However, her favorite job was being a loving mother to Bart Connors and his wife Yvonne, Colleen Lowe and her husband Kenneth, Patricia Neugebauer and her husband Peter, and Cindy Quinn and her husband Russell. She was the treasured Nana to Daniel, Allison, Katherine, Amie and her husband Benjamin, Michael and his wife Marcia, Andrea and her husband Douglas, Stephen, Rick, Jessica and her husband Sean, and Nicole and she adored spending time with them.  She is also survived by her six loving great-grandchildren who always put a smile on her face, Logan, Reagan, Josephine, Elouise, James and Henry. She was devoted to her family and took great pride in each one of their lives and accomplishments

Peg's Catholic faith was the foundation of her life.  She was an active member of St Luke’s Catholic Church where she volunteered in the rectory office and cleaned the church. Peg cherished her friendships that she formed through the many groups she was active in, including the Senior Lukans, the Golden Club and the ladies from her Monday Dominoes Group.  

The Connors family will receive friends on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Saint Luke's Church, 340 North Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ from 10:00 - 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. A burial of Peg's ashes to follow at Christ the King Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Luke's Church.
