Mariann Cavaliere, 66 years young, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a beacon of sweetness, happiness, and love—often laughing and smiling with her family. Mariann’s life was filled with joy and affection, and she shared her warmth with all who knew her. Her love for her family was boundless. Mariann had a happy, but sometimes difficult life.
She graduated from Paramus Vocational Technical High School in Paramus, NJ. She held a variety of jobs upon graduation including working in the cafeteria at Englewood Hospital. She retired when her parents did in 1978 and moved to Barnegat, NJ and later to Florida.
Mariann is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Rocco Cavaliere and her beloved brothers George and Robert, whose memories she cherished deeply. Left behind is her devoted brother Ron, who lovingly cared for Mariann, ensuring that her life was filled with comfort, joy, and the deepest care. She also leaves behind her many nieces and nephews. Mariann’s life was a beautiful testament to love and happiness, and she will be missed beyond measure. Her family finds peace in knowing that she is reunited with those she loved, but her absence leaves a hole that can never be filled.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you carry Mariann’s spirit forward by sharing a smile, a kind word, or a laugh with someone who needs it, in her honor.
The visitation will be held at Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff, NJ on Thursday, December 12th at 10:00 am followed by a Service at 11:30am. Follow will be placing her at her place of final resting place at George Washington Memorial Cemetery on Paramus Road in Paramus, NJ.
