Marie E Caselnova

Marie Caselnova, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 86.

Born on August 8, 1939, Marie was the cherished daughter of the late Emanuele and Pauline Giasi (née Scaltro). She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Anthony V. Caselnova, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and family.

Marie’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving children Anthony (Tamara), Christopher (Lisa), Jennifer (Ben), and Andrew (Michele) and her brother Francis Giasi. Her legacy continues through her nine adored grandchildren — Lauren, Kristen, Abigail, Oliver, Spencer, Gabrielle, Andrew, Joseph, and Giuliana — and her two precious great-grandchildren, Giada and Blakely.

Marie will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her home was always open, her table always full, and her heart always welcoming.

Family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her kindness, humor, and the love she shared so freely.

Visiting Hours are 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Wednesday October 15th at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff NJ

Funeral Mass celebrating Marie's life will be 10:00am on Thursday October 16th at St. Paul's R.C. Church 200 Wyckoff Avenue, Ramsey NJ

Burial will follow at the Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah NJ
