Marilyn Varsolona

Marilyn Varsolona, 71, of Allendale, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025.  Born in Newark, she grew up in Wyckoff before moving to Allendale 46 years ago.

Marilyn was the bookkeeper for Northwest Bergen County Utilities Authority in Waldwick for 26 years before she retired.

She is survived by her son Patrick and his wife Melissa, her 4 grandchildren Harper, Ryan, Hattie, and Joseph, her siblings Nick, Peter, and Elaine.

She was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1993, and sister Moncia

Visiting hours are from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home,  www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. 

Funeral mass is 10:00am on Tuesday at St. Luke’s Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ.

Interment will follow at the Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
