MaryAnn DeKoek

MaryAnn DeKoek, 95, of Wyckoff, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday January 7, 2026. Born in Benton Harbor, Michigan she spent her youth in Niles, Michigan and early adult years in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She moved to NJ in 1969 with her family, where she spent most of her years. She is survived by her children Larry, Dave, Jim and his wife Debbie and her daughter Susan and her husband Jeff. She is also survived by five grandsons and six great grandchildren. Trained as a nurse, MaryAnn worked at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood and Eastern Christian Children's Retreat, now known as Hope Christian, as the administrator. She spent her working years helping and fighting for the sick and disabled. She was truly a good soul and will be greatly missed. 

The DeKoek family will receive family and friends at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue in Wyckoff NJ on January 17th from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with a memorial service immediately following.
