Matt Taylor

Matthew “Matt” Taylor, 85, of Wyckoff, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  

Matt lived a life marked by generosity, integrity, and unwavering devotion to his family.  Matt is survived by his loving wife Joan, who built a beautiful life together for 63 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Laura Radisic and son-in-law, Nikola Radisic, granddaughters Alexandra, Michaela and Rebecca Radisic, extended family, and countless friends who were blessed to share in his life.

A graduate of Lehigh University, Matt began his career at American Cyanamid and later served as president of Cyro Industries until his retirement in 2000.

Matt was the cornerstone of his family and a beacon of strength, love, and wisdom.
They will miss him dearly.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, 6/5 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Matt’s life will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday, 6/6, at St. Elizabeth Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ . Interment will be at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ

Per Matt’s wishes, those attending are encouraged to wear colorful attire in celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations in Matt’s memory may be made to Sacred Heart School, Jersey City, NJ.
