Michael Beal

Michael Beal, 65, of West Milford NJ and formerly of Washington Twp. NJ, passed away on Friday, May 9th, 2025. Born in Teaneck NJ, Michael lived in Washington Twp. NJ before moving to West Milford forty years ago.

He was a cable technician for some of the biggest IT infrastructures including Becton Dickinson. He enjoyed playing the bass guitar and Chris Squire from the band Yes, was his all-time favorite musician. Mike also had a deep passion for his saltwater aquarium which he kept immaculate. He also got stung by his lionfish numerous times but that never stopped him.

He is survived by fiancé Lynda Sytsma, his Aunt Diana (Dee Dee), siblings Pam, Debbie and Tony, nephews Mathias and Christopher as well as niece Julianna.

He was predeceased by Mother Carol, Father Lee Brook and Sister Patricia.

The family will receive friends on May 14th 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.
