Michael D. Gonnella Jr.

We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved father Michael Dominic Gonnella Jr. He passed on September 29, 2022. He was born Septemner 21,1946 in Newark, NJ. He resided in Waldwick, NJ. He was the proud owner of Toni Michael’s hair salon in Ridgewood, NJ. He worked at Morning Glow hair salon in Waldwick, NJ until his retirement in 2021. Our father enjoyed golfing, bowling, cooking and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved to vacation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Long Beach Island, NJ. He was pre-deceased by his parents Michael Gonnella Sr and Antoinette Gonnella. Also his older brother Nicholas Gonnella. Survived by his 3 children Nicole Linnartz, Joseph Gonnella and his spouse Megan Gonnella and Jennifer Pentz and her spouse Nicholas Pentz. His 6 granddaughters Mia Linnartz, Gianna Gonnella, Alissa Gonnella, Deanna Pentz, Sophia Pentz and Juliet Pentz. Viewing will be Sunday, October  2, 2022 from 2 to 6pm. Mass will be on Monday, October 3, 2022 at St Luke's Roman Catholic Church in HoHoKus, NJ at 11am. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Michael’s name.
