Michael Marino

Michael Marino, 68, of Mahwah, NJ passed away on December 6, 2024, surrounded by his family. Mike was a loving and generous husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. 

He attended Saint Peter’s University and earned his bachelor’s degree in business management. He later went on to earn his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Professionally, he took great pride in his 40+ years of experience in Credit and Collections/Accounts Receivable Management, predominantly in the pharmaceutical industry. He was a valued team member and was admired as a patient, passionate and strong leader, and mentor. 

Mike was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan and rarely missed a game. During the summer months, he cherished going to Long Beach Island, Atlantic City and Monmouth Park Racetrack. Above all, he loved doing anything he could to spend time with his family- attending concerts, shopping, traveling, and dining out. He treasured making memories at sporting events and concerts of countless country music artists, especially Taylor Swift with his girls.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara, and his two daughters, Ashley, and Michelle. He is also survived by his mother, Rachel, and his two brothers, Louis, and Mark. He was predeceased by his father, Michael.

His palpably kind, brave, humble and humorous spirit will be forever cherished. It will continue to inspire and guide all who were fortunate to know him.

The Marino family will receive friends on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 2-6 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 10 AM at Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 69 Valley St, Hillsdale, NJ. Interment will follow at Maryrest Mausoleum, 770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ.
