Millard "Ted" C. Pintard

Millard C. “Ted” Pintard, age 82, passed away on Saturday, July 4th, 2026. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, he lived in Ramsey during his childhood and resided in Allendale for 40 years.

In 1964, Ted joined the Army and served as a Military Police Officer in Paris, France. After being discharged, Ted enjoyed success in a career in sales.

Ted loved his life, and being involved with his family, be it with Linda’s church connections or Tracy’s school and sports activities. He was an avid golfer, being a member of Bowling Green Golf Club for over 25 years. He was a devoted fan of the Mets, Giants and Army football. He was a loyal friend who enjoyed organizing gatherings to connect his loved ones.

Ted will be remembered for his generous nature, his ability to make the world a funnier place, and his unwavering dedication to his family and friends.

Ted is predeceased by his parents, Millard and Janet, his brother, John, and his father -in- law Robert Emmens. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 46 years Linda (Emmens) Pintard, his daughter Tracy Pintard Haynes, son-in law Christopher, and granddaughter Maddie; mother-in-law Shirley Emmens; sisters in laws Donna Zdenek and husband James Cassino and Debra Kovachi and husband William; nephews Eric Zdenek, wife Lisa, and great niece Ava and Michael Zdenek, wife Erika and great nephew Miles. Also, former sister-in-law Mickey Hall and niece Cindy.

Friends and family may visit with family on Thursday, July 16,2026 at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, N.J. From 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

A celebration of Ted’s life will follow at 2:30 p.m. at St. Gabriel the Archangel, 88 East Saddle River Rd., Saddle River, N.J. 07458.
