Patricia Leonard Obituary

Our beloved daughter and sister, Patricia Michelle Leonard, tragically passed away on December 19th, 2024. She was a shining light in our lives, and her loving heart and infectious laugh will be forever remembered.

Patty is deeply loved and missed by her mother, Nina Kelly-Leonard, her father, Michael Leonard, her siblings William Kelly III and his wife Leah Kelly, Connie Kelly, Catherine Kelly, Myles Leonard, and James Leonard, her grandmother, Patricia Leonard, her cousin Alexa Leonard, her nephew Jackson Cole Napolitano, and her many other cousins, aunts, and uncles. She was predeceased by her grandparents Sylvester Leonard, Samuel Tarantino, and Concetta Tarantino, as well as her Uncle Bobby Leonard. Patty was an animal lover who was a mother to her two Pomeranians, Mochi and Moo.

Born on September 23rd, 2003, Patty was loved and cherished by her community. She attended Waldwick High School before moving to Florida to study Criminal Law. Patty dreamed of making the world a better place.

Despite the physical distance while she was away in Florida, Patty made it a priority to connect with her family daily on FaceTime. She brightened our day with that single, sporadic phone call.

Patty was wise beyond her years and destined for greatness. She was reading novels and tying her shoes by the age of 3. Always the brightest light in the room, Patty had a love for music and was known to burst into song at the most unexpected times. She was naturally funny, always knowing how to make others laugh. Patty had a heart of gold and would always be there for her beloved friends and family. Unapologetically herself, she radiated warmth and joy. Her vibrant energy and laughter will remain etched in the hearts of all who loved her.
