Patricia Yablonsky

Patricia Yablonsky, 70, of Ringwood, NJ passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 following a long yet courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. Patricia is survived by her husband Paul, daughter Lisa Thom of Bloomingdale, NJ, son Matthew Yablonsky of Blauvelt, NY, sister Judith Steinmetz of Marlton, NJ, brother Joseph Abad of San Francisco, CA, brother David Abad of Milton, DE, and grandchildren Nola and Joseph Thom of Bloomingdale, NJ.

Patricia was born in Hackensack, NJ and raised in Park Ridge, NJ. Patricia graduated from Park Ridge High School and St. Louis University with a BA degree. Patricia spent the latter part of her professional life as a first grade-school teacher at YNJ in River Edge, NJ. Patricia dedicated her entire life to helping others learn. She adored her grandchildren, Nola and Joe, and took great satisfaction in visits with them and nurturing their lives with love and kindness in every way imaginable.

Viewing will take place on Friday, November 18,2022 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff, NJ concluding with a committal service by long-time friend Rev. Benhardt Fraumann, commencing at 7:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation, Multiple Myeloma Division, at Hackensack University Medical Center’s John Theurer Cancer Center.

The staff at the John Theurer Cancer Center contributed greatly to Patricia’s quality of life and support during her long battle with Multiple Myeloma.
