Philip Stavropoulos

Philip Stavropoulos, age 72, of Midland Park New Jersey, passed away 04/13/2024.

Born in Greece, he lived first in Fort Lee, NJ with his wife Nopee of 45 years before moving to Midland Park in 1988.  He loved spending time with his family, traveling with his wife, and cooking steaks on the grill.  He was passionate about politics, philosophy, and family. 

Philip was the Manager of Matthews Diner in Waldwick, NJ where he was known and beloved by the many patrons and staff.

Philip is survived by Nopee Stavropoulos, his wife of 45 years, and his daughter, Thanae and son-in-law Daniel. Philip is survived by his sister, Maria Stavropoulos and brother, Kostas Stavropoulos.  He is predeceased by his parents Christos and Eleni, and brothers Kyriakos and Yanni.

The family will receive friends and family on Monday, April 15, 2024, 3:00-6:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.
