Phillip Pappas, 91, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 27, 2021. Born in Detroit, MI to Paul and Myrsine Pappas. Phillip lived in Shreveport, LA, Albany, NY, and Paterson, NJ where he met and married his beloved and blessed wife Petronia Darabaris. They moved to Hawthorne, NJ where they lived for 28 years. Phillip was a research and development engineer for Hoffman-LaRoche Co in Nutley, NJ. After his retirement, they moved to Ft Myers, FL. He proudly served in the USMC during the Korean War. Phillip was predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years, Petronia, in 2018, and by his son in law Randy Konstas in 2008. Phillip is survived by his two children, Paul and Pam Pappas, and Phyllis Konstas and Tony Souder, and his five grandchildren, Eleni Konstas, Phillip Pappas, Matthew Pappas, Dr. Anna Konstas, and Konstantinos Konstas. He is also survived by his sister Marina Carides and his loving nieces and nephew. Private services were held for Phillip on Tuesday, August 31.
