Pushpa R. Mehta

In the loving memory of our mother Pushpa Mehta 1930 -  2025.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pushpa Mehta at the age of 94.

Pushpa was born in Bahawalpur, India. She was the cherished daughter of.Sukhdayal and Krishna Baveja, and younger sister to Raj, Krishan and Sudarshan. 

She met and married our father Rajinder Mehta with whom she shared 71 wonderful and exciting years of marriage. Together, they build a loving home for us and filled it with travels and tradition.

Pushpa was the beloved mother of Vineet, his wife Jane Mehta and Punam and her husband Satish Kashyap. 

She was a devoted grandmother to Raj, his wife Zaida, Timothy Mehta and his wife  Elisa, Vinay and his wife Shauna  and Piya Kashyap  and her husband Remy Mansfield. 

She was blessed to be the great grandmother of her seven stars – Simran and Sejal Mansfield, River and Jack Mehta, and Aiden, Maya and Kai Kashyap. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she delighted in celebrating their accomplishments and milestones.

Pushpa was an artist, writing poetry, painting, reading, and singing. She was a teacher.

She enjoyed knitting, playing Mahjong, Canasta and Rummy. 

Pushpa was dedicated to her friends and made lifelong relationships with them. She enjoyed the vibrancy of young people around her, and they lovingly called her Aunty while cherishing her presence amongst them. 

Pushpa leaves behind a legacy of resilience, grace  and devotion. Her memory will forever live in our hearts.
