Rajinder K. Wadhwa

Rajinder K. Wadhwa, age 84, passed away peacefully on May 13th at Valley Hospital. He grew up in New Delhi and was the second youngest of six children. He studied architecture in India and at the age of 33 migrated to the United States with his wife, daughter, and son. As an architect, over his career he designed numerous retail stores throughout America and he took much pride when at the age of 58 he started his own architectural firm in New York City, Innovative Design Group. He also designed his home where he lived with his family for the past 30+ years. He was a loving and devoted husband and father and a pillar of the Hindu community in Northern New Jersey.

Rajinder is survived by his wife Ravender, his son Sanjeev, his daughter Sarita and her husband Ravi and his beloved granddaughter Sanoosha. 

A service will be held in his honor this Wednesday, May 18th at 10:00 a.m. at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Rajinder was a supporter for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute and donations in his honor can be made at the following: www.mskcc.org
