Richard Beaumont Obituary

Beaumont, Richard, (Dick) T. age 89 of Waldwick died Thursday Dec. 31, 2020. Born in Englewood, NJ, he lived in Waldwick for 57 years. Richard was an accountant for International Paper Company in New York City for 30 years, before retiring in 1985. He was a Korean War veteran and a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 128 in Teaneck, NJ.  He was a lifetime fan of the New York/San Francisco Giants, New York Giants and the Rangers.  He was pre-deceased by his wife Rachel and his granddaughter Amie. Surviving are his children, Karen and her husband Gregory Meacham of Parsippany, Ellen Corbitt and her late husband Roy of Santa Clara, CA and Laura and her husband Norman Whitby of Middletown, NY. Also surviving are his four grandchildren, Jessica and her husband Billy, Kari, Kevin and Nicole and six great grandchildren, Ashley, Conor, Cayleigh, Brian Jack and Henry. And several nieces and nephews and many loving friends and neighbors. There will be a private viewing Monday 1-4 with a funeral service at 3:30 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Private cremation will be held. In lieu of flowers donations to The Wounded Warrior Project or St. Labre, School would be appreciated.  We will have a celebration of Dicks life at a later date.
