Obituary

Robert E. Hill, age 57, of Hawthorne died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Englewood, NJ, raised in Ridgewood and had resided in Hawthorne for 12 years.

Bob had a love for sports and the outdoors, where he loved hiking with his great niece Julianna.

Bob is survived by his mother, Elsie Marangi of Hawthorne, his sisters, Linda Hill of Hawthorne and Terry Hill of Hillsdale and a brother, Gary Hill (Leslie) of Casselberry, FL.  Also surviving are his niece, Nicole Meyer, his great niece Julianna Meyer, who he affectionately called “snookum’s” and great nephews, Eric and Liam. Bob was predeceased by his father, Robert G. Hill in 2018.

Although Bob left this earth entirely too soon, everyone who knew him, “The Legend”, will be eternally grateful to have been a part of his life.
