Robert John Occhipinti, Jr., age 30, of Waldwick passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2024.
Robert is survived by his parents Robert Occhipinti, Sr. and Donna Mancinelli and his brother Michael Anthony Occhipinti. He was a beloved nephew to Laura DeForne, Richard Mancinelli, and Denise Occhipinti. Robbie was a beloved cousin to many - John and Julianna Occhipinti, Melissa and Jeffrey Woodhouse, John and Daniel DeForne, Paula and Mike DiPilla, Christopher, Danielle, RJ, Ryan, Matthew and Madison Mancinelli. Robbie loved his newest “little cousins” Emerson and Milo Woodhouse and Anthony and Juliette DiPilla.
Robbie was predeceased by his grandparents Salvatore and Yolanda Occhipinti and Pasquale and Florence Mancinelli, his two uncles, Robert J. Mancinelli, Esq. and Michael Mancinelli, and his cousin, Nikki Mancinelli.
Robbie will be remembered for his infectious smile, incredible personality, strong perseverance and total zest to live life on his terms. Robbie graduated Waldwick High School in 2012 and Marist College in 2016. While growing up in Waldwick, Robbie’s favorite sport was soccer. In his spare time, he loved to run and golf. He was also a volunteer for the Waldwick Lions Club, helping with tree sales and carnivals. He also volunteered for The OctoberWoman Foundation for Breast Cancer Research based out of Park Ridge. He loved his most recent job which was working for Homeland Security in Washington D.C.
The family will receive friends on Saturday 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the Cornerstone Christian Church located at 495 Wyckoff Avenue in Wyckoff, NJ.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m., also at Cornerstone Christian Church.
Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus
