Robert Joseph Quinn

Robert J. Quinn, age 97, of Wyckoff New Jersey passed away quietly, and peacefully, on Tuesday June 28, 2022. He is survived by his wife Helen, whom he loved with all his heart, his daughter Paula, son Brian and his wife Maria, granddaughter Sara, and grandson Conor. 
Born in Shrewsbury MA, he fought in the Second World War with the rank of First Class Petty Officer in the Navy, graduated Boston College under the GI Bill, earned his Juris Doctor at Georgetown University Law, passed the bar in Washington DC.
He spent 21 years fighting crime as a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and 20 years working Corporate Security for Bristol Myers Squibb.
 
The Quinn family will receive friends on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 9:00 until 10:30AM at the Vander Plaat Funeral home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. The viewing will be followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM at Saint Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Internment shall follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers; memorial contributions in Roberts name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
