Robert "Luke" Moore

Robert "Luke" Moore, a beloved figure known for his kind heart and infectious laughter, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 23, 2024. Born on December 28, 1953 to James and Ruth Moore, he was raised in Waldwick, NJ. Luke's life was a colorful tapestry woven with adventure and joy. As the owner of his cherished carnival rides, he traveled up and down the East Coast, bringing smiles to countless faces at local fairs. In his later years, Luke found solace and purpose as a custodian for the Board of Education in Hillside, NJ.

Luke's magnetic personality drew people to him like kids are drawn to cotton candy. His large and loving family, consisting of seven siblings, four children (Kyle, James, Joseph, and Krystal), seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, who will deeply miss his presence.
