Selma C Alaimo

Selma C. Alaimo, 77 of Wyckoff, NJ and formerly of Franklin Lakes, NJ, died on 9th day of September 2022. Family was at her bedside when she passed. Selma was born in 1945 in the City of Paterson, NJ.

Selma was a Guidance Counselor with the Bergenfield School system. She had may interests in her life. First was her family and being with her girls and granddaughters. Selma loved being outside with nature and the birds were she like to take photos of everything she saw. She had a great love chocolate, her friends and family, the Jersey shore, watching baseball and was always willing to help others.

Selma is predeceased by her loving husband John, who passed away in 2005 and her sister Gloria Wax. Also, she is survived by her two daughters, Julie Alaimo and Jennifer Alaimo Barreiro, and her son in law Drew Barreiro. Her loving Granddaughters Makayla and Alexandra.

The family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday September 14, 2022, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home,  www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.
