Thomas E. Kopp, age 85 of Cornwall, PA, formerly of Wyckoff, NJ died peacefully on Friday, November 10, 2023. Tom was born in Teaneck, NJ and had been a longtime resident of Wyckoff before moving to Cornwall, PA 12 years ago. Tom graduated from the US Military Academy, West Point, NY and served actively in the Army for four years. He was director of Traffic Separations Studies for Bell Atlantic, Newark, NJ and continued to serve in the Army National Guard and Reserves achieving the rank of Colonel. He was also a former parishioner and served as an usher at St. Elizabeth’s RC Church, Wyckoff, NJ and was currently a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church in Cornwall, PA where he also loved serving as an usher. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Judy Kopp of Cornwall, PA, his children, Thomas E. Kopp (Catherine) of Yardley, PA, Lynn D. Else (Thomas) of Maybrook, NY, David G. Kopp (Aihua) of Glendale, AZ, Laurie A. Pardon of Palmyra, PA, Brain C. Kopp (Luciana) of Marietta, GA and Glenn M. Kopp of Peterborough, NH. Tom is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, Clayton, DJ, Tyler, Mia, Alee, Caroline, Drew, Noah, Matthew, Caleb, Joshua, and Sophia along with his 3 great grandchildren, Declan, Kaylub, and Elias. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Ellis and Millicent Kopp, his sister, Denise Kopp and his brother, Steve Kopp. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 9:45 AM at St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ with the interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project P.O Box 758516 Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
