Todd B Smith

Todd B. Smith, 67, of Franklin Lakes, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025.  Born in Jersey City, he grew up in Hillsdale before moving to Franklin Lakes 33 years ago.

Todd was a Registered Nurse for Hackensack University Medical Center for 35 years.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed the outdoors including spending time at the beach in Aruba.

Todd is survived by his loving wife Barbara, his children Kyle and Alyssa, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Kim and Benjamin, his brother Timmy, and sister Tracey.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 6:00 on Sunday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home,  www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Todd’s memory can be made to the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack Hospital.
