Trina Wendelaar

Trina Gertrude Wendelaar, 87, of Midland Park, passed away at home on Sunday, June 4, 2023.  Trina was born to Gerrit and Gertrude in the house that she passed away in. She was a lifelong resident of Midland Park and a graduate of Eastern Christian High Schools.  Trina was a member of Irving Park Christian Reformed Church and Faith Reformed Church.

Trina leaves behind her husband of 68 years, William R. Wendelaar, and three children William, Jr., Linda and her husband Wayne Riker, and Kenneth and his wife Allison.  She was also blessed with three grandchildren, Bryan and his wife Megan, Carl and his wife Stephanie, and William and his wife Gaby, along with three great-grandchildren, Ava, Scarlett and Benjamin.   

She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Garrett and Jay.

The Wendelaar family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00am on Thursday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home,  www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. 

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00am on Thursday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at the Laurel Grove Memorial Cemetery.
