Vincent "Vinny" C Bricca, Jr.

Vincent C. Bricca Jr., age 60, of Midland Park, NJ, passed away on August 8, 2025, surrounded by loved ones after a short battle with cancer. Born on November 30th, 1964, Vinny dedicated his life to family, hard work, and service to others. As a Master Plumber for over 40 years, he built a reputation for integrity, skill, and generosity – always willing to help a neighbor or friend in need or mentor apprentices starting out in their plumbing career.

Vinny owned and operated businesses in Midland Park under Bricca Plumbing and Plumbing Stars serving the Bergan County community for over 40 years. He took pride in a job well done and earned the trust and respect of countless customers, friends, and colleagues along the way.

Vinny met the love his life, Annette, 16 years ago and married her. While they found each other later in life, their love knew no bounds. They enjoyed weekends antiquing and spending time with friends, family, and neighbors. Vinny’s smile could light up a room and when he talked to people, he made you feel like you were family. His kindness and compassion will be missed by all that knew him.

Vinny is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Annette Bricca, his stepdaughter Emily Ridam both of Midland Park, NJ, his sister Cynitha Finnigan and her husband William of New Milford, NJ as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent D. Bricca and Rose DeFino Bricca.

A celebration of Vinny’s life will take place on Sunday, August 17th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 275 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ. A funeral service will be held at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park, NJ on Monday, August 18th at 10:00 am. Vinny will be laid to rest at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
