Virginia R. Chiocco passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the age of 74. Born in New York City, she was a long time resident of Ramsey. Virginia worked for the Borough of Ramsey as an Accounts Payable Clerk before retiring in 2013. She was a member of the Ramsey Senior Club, Crafty Sisters which is an organization that crochets items to donate to children’s hospitals. Virginia was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved knitting, crocheting, traveling and cooking, most of all devoting her time to her family especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Frank T. Chiocco, three children: Mary Murrell, her husband Scott; Frank T. Chiocco, Jr., his wife Nancy; Gregory D. Chiocco, his wife Kristi and seven adoring grandchildren: Stephanie, Matthew, Paul, Frank III, Jason, Audrey and Enzo. Dear sister of Veronica Cipollo, her husband Vincent; Daniel Farinaro and his wife Caroline. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff. Virginia’s mass will be celebrated on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
