Walter is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Kathleen; his children, Barbara Stewart, Jeffrey Krenrich, Christopher Callahan, Patricia Callahan, and Kathleen Ferraro; his grandchildren, Sam, Lucy, Emily, Annie, and Joey; his sister Joan Hironimus; and many nieces and nephews. Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Florence, and his sisters Florence Callahan, Eleanor Callahan, and Mary Ellen Weiss.
The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, February 7, at 11:00 am at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. The service will begin at noon.
