Wayne Dopp, a loving husband, father and grandfather recalled fondly for his devotion to those around him, passed away suddenly on December 16, 2024 at his home in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. He was 77.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 58 years Dianne Dopp (nee Arvidson), with whom he lived in Franklin Lakes for nearly five decades. Together since the age of 15 they were inseparable throughout their shared life.
In addition, Wayne is survived by his four adult children: daughter Tracy, sons Rodney(Francesca), Christian (Michelle) and Terrence. Wayne’s greatest pride and joy were his 10 grandchildren: Jake(Amanda), Brenna(D.J.), Morgan Janjigian; Colin Dopp; Max and Ben Dopp; Beckett, Jasper, Milo and Olive Dopp. Wayne was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandchild.
Wayne is also survived by his three siblings: Sister Pam Platt (Joe) and family, brother Robert Dopp and family; and brother Gary Dopp and family.
Wayne was a unique man who had a sharp mind and a kind word, always. He looked for the best in every situation and chose to focus on the good in everything. As an engaging conversationalist, he had the ability to connect with everyone he met on an individual level. He was the rock of his family, who could be leaned on in all situations and was always willing to offer sage advice or guidance as needed.
Wayne and his wife Dianne worked side by side at Promotional Graphics, a true family business they founded together. As was his nature Wayne considered his employees to be family as well.
True to his words and wishes, Wayne worked until the day he died.
He will be missed.
