Zackary Logan Zamot

We regretfully announce the passing of Zackary Logan Zamot, who passed away unexpectedly on May 19th, 2023. Zackary was only 24 years old at the time of his sudden passing. Zackary was born in Texas on May 5th, 1999. He was adopted by Edward and Dora Zamot at the age of 9 years old and lived in his hometown of New City in Rockland County, New York for most of his life. Zackary grew up with his brother Matthew Zamot and countless good friends in his neighborhood. After graduating Ramapo High School, Zackary joined the U.S. Army following his father’s footsteps. He served his brave years of service in Special Operations and  Night Stalkers, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne).

Zackary spent his free time with his family, on dates with his wife, raising his son, lifting weights, and with all of his friends. Zackary is survived by his loving wife Cynthia, son Giovanni, and brother Matthew. Everyone who knew Zackary, knew how generous, giving, and friendly he was. There was never a time without laughter around Zackary.
